We're trying something a little different and releasing three albums at once. Hold the freak'n presses! To be fair, two of the new releases are EP's, something we don't generally do but hey, let's get lost.

First, Chicago's cello maestro, Fred Lonberg-Holm. His album Lost ND Fragments has been "shelved" since 1989. It was originally intended for a split K7 release for a series called "Fragments" produced by ND Magazine from Ausitn Texas. This is ripped, torn, screwed and glued. Are you ready?

Also from Austin, Box of Baby Birds. Well originally from Chicago, but Gary Calhoun James relocated to Austin a few years back and has been working on some really refined ummmm...singer-song-writer/Americana stuff? I'm not sure what you'd call it but their two songs on Crown of Bees sound sweet as honey. Here's some words from Indiehound.com

Lastly, Male is a collective-ish group lead by Benjamin Mjolsness, Jonathan Krohn and Todd Mattei. German For Sharks (bonus material) is a three song "mix" that has a song from their first record All Are Welcome, a song from their new album German for Sharks (available on LP here) and a remix by Tortoise's Dan Bitney. Dreamy stuff.
